Kraftsound is a creative technology platform that turns music into physical, playable objects.

We’re building a new way for artists and audiences to experience, collect and share music — transforming audio into 3D-printable artefacts that can be made locally on digital fabrication machines and played back on a turntable.

Our software analyses music and converts it into the geometry required to create a playable physical disc, while embedding the artwork, metadata and identity of the original release. Artists can publish their work as digital designs that audiences can download, personalise and manufacture themselves — at home, through FabLabs, or through our growing network of fabrication partners.

Kraftsound sits at the intersection of music, physical media, digital fabrication and creative technology. Rather than operating as a traditional record manufacturer, we are building the infrastructure for a new kind of music object: digital music that can become physical on demand.

Our vision is to make physical music radically more accessible, participatory and sustainable — giving artists new ways to release and monetise their work, while giving audiences the ability to make, own and experience music in entirely new forms.
